Taylor Swift’s 12th album, “The Life of a Showgirl” is stirring up quite the excitement for fans (also known as Swifties).
Target is celebrating the album drop by hosting a midnight drop party, and multiple movie theaters will show the “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” movie.
“The Life of a Showgirl” drops on Friday, Oct. 3 at midnight. Target’s parties start at midnight local time, and movie showtimes will begin at 2 p.m. the same day.
Select Target stores are offering Swifties to come and grab limited time “The Life of a Showgirl” CDs. There are three different options that are exclusive to Target. Fans can grab up to four on a first come, first serve basis beginning at midnight.
AMC Theatres will show an 89-minute production that includes the music video for the “The Fate of Ophelia” song as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the album recording and music video shooting.

Which Target stores in Fort Worth will host a midnight release party?
The only Fort Worth store that will host a midnight release party is located at 5700 Overton Ridge Blvd.
The other North Texas Targets hosting midnight release parties are:

4885 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco
Can you still purchase an exclusive CD at Target locations without going to a midnight release party?
Yes, all Target locations will offer the three exclusive “The Life of a Showgirl” CDs at their normal opening times beginning Oct. 3.
Fans can also pre-order the CDs or records on Target’s website.
Where can I watch the ‘Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl’ movie?
The new movie will be released in all AMC Theatres locations.

How long will the Taylor Swift movie be in theatres?
“Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” will only be in theatres from Oct. 3 to Oct. 5.
Tickets are available for purchase now for $12 (before fees). You can buy directly from AMC, Regal or Cinemark or at releasepartyofashowgirl.com.
