How Can I Watch the 2025 Emmys for Free?
There’s really only one way to watch the 2025 Emmys if you don’t have cable: You can stream it through Paramount+ and, yes, you can stream live on Paramount+ for free.
So, Paramount+ offers a free one-week trial for new customers. You can either try the Paramount+ Premium package. The free trial lasts one week, and after that, you will be charged $13 monthly.
(Keep in mind, there’s a Paramount+ Essential package, which would be $8 a month after. However, this package doesn’t include the ability to stream CBS live, which is essential for watching the Emmys!)
Now, if you want to try it out longer, there is a way to try out Paramount+ for free for 30 days. If you sign up for a Walmart+ subscription (which offers plans starting at $13 a month), you can then get a free trial!
We know, it’s not 100 percent free through Walmart+, but there are so many benefits to Walmart+ too, like saving on streaming, free delivery, free shipping, and more.

Who Is Hosting the 2025 Emmys?
The Primetime Emmy Awards first launched on January 25, 1949, and since then, so many beloved stars have hosted. Comedian Nate Bargatze will host this year’s awards ceremony. He is best known for his stand-up specials like The Tennessee Kid, The Greatest Average American, Hello World, and Your Friend, Nate Bargatze.

Who Is Nominated for an Emmy in 2025?
The short answer is that a lot of your favorite stars are nominated again this year (and many first-time nominees as well)! The definitive leaders of the Emmy nominations are Severance and The White Lotus, each with 10 nominations, including Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series, and more.
There’s also a bunch of nominations for the new Apple TV+ show The Studio, Hacks, Abbott Elementary, and The Pitt, to name a few.
