After ten days in orbit, circling the moon and Earth, the crew of the Artemis II is about to return to their home planet. The four-person crew — Mission Specialist Christina Koch, Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen, Commander Reid Wiseman, and Pilot Victor Glover — launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on April 1, and the Orion spacecraft will splash down in the Pacific Ocean the evening of April 10.

The astronauts on the Artemis II space mission are scheduled to return to Earth on Friday, April 10. The Orion spacecraft will begin reentry around 7:50 p.m. ET and splashdown in the Pacific Ocean will be at roughly 8:07 p.m. ET.
