MILWAUKEE — Rainbow Summer, with its larger-than-life art installations and live music, is returning to Milwaukee’s Marcus Performing Arts Center this July.
From July 14-19, festivities will take over the grounds outside the Marcus Center.
Like in years past, when there were large iridescent arches and huge bubble art, there will be a new attraction from LeMonde Studio.

“Harmonies” will feature “larger-than-life musical instruments.” It’s the biggest Milwaukee installation ever for the festival, according to Milwaukee Downtown.
“LeMonde Studio is a creative leader in people-powered art. Each piece is designed for engagement, continuing the Rainbow Summer tradition of artwork that is meant for play and exploration,” said Erica Green, COO of Milwaukee Downtown.

- July 16: “Feel Good Pop Night” featuring Boy Band Review
- July 17: “Latin Night” featuring Zonk Rolan and Nicole Nicolalde

Marcus said parking will be offered for $20 in its structure each night of Rainbow Summer. There will also be food trucks at the festivities, where people can buy food and drinks. No carry-ins are permitted.
However, you can bring your chairs and blankets to the lawn. No tickets are required for this free festival.
