Cardi B won’t be removing her butt implants after all.
The Am I the Drama? rapper appeared on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle on Tuesday (March 24) to promote her new hair care line Grow-Good, when she was asked about her recent comments on having a butt reduction. In February, the Grammy winner claimed that she was planning to go to Colombia after her Little Miss Drama Tour to have the procedure.
“After this tour, I don’t want to hear nobody for three months. I’m going to Colombia, nobody hit me up, nobody nothing. I’m taking this ass out,” Cardi said while backstage at her Los Angeles tour stop.
But on Today, Cardi had a new outlook about her body and changed her mind about the procedure.
“I was saying that but I’m not gonna do it,” said the 33-year-old Grammy winner. “I was just gonna take a little bit of butt out. But I don’t have time for that,” she said. “I feel really comfortable where I’m at right now with my body.”
The mother of four added that she has “a whole bunch of cellulite” that she seems resigned to.
“I don’t know if it’s the age or the fact that I got four kids,” she explained. “[But] I feel really good.”
Cardi added that while her waist “looks so perfect,” she doesn’t think it is. “But it’s okay, I’m loving my imperfections and everything and I just feel really comfortable. I feel really good,” she continued.
Last September, Cardi, who was dating NFL player Stefon Diggs at the time, debunked a rumor that she was dumped for her “BBL stink.” The couple reportedly broke up in February, just months after welcoming their first child together, a son. The rapper shares three older children with her estranged husband, Offset.
“And it’s just like… the way this ass be getting eaten, it can’t be… I’m very anal about how I smell,” Cardi said on podcast Call Her Daddy. “I don’t know who made the rumors that BBL’s stink, but it’s like… it doesn’t stink.”
