Jessie J delivered a heartbreaking announcement regarding her highly anticipated tour.
The pop star, who had been diagnosed with early breast cancer in June, posted a video sharing with fans an update regarding her health.
In an Instagram post, the “Price Tag” hitmaker shared the changes in her tour schedule.
The UK and European leg was initially set to kick off in September but has now been rescheduled to run from April 7 to 26, 2026, according to NME.
Sadly, her U.S. concert has also been added to the list of postponed shows.
“Here comes the bad news,” she said, adding, “I haven’t been able to finesse the US dates, so those have to be cancelled.”
As for the reason behind the sudden change, she revealed she is undergoing another round of surgery but reassured fans it was “nothing serious.”
“Unfortunately, I have to have a second surgery – nothing too serious, but it has to be done by the end of this year,” she said, adding, “This falls in the middle of the tour I had booked.”
Moreover, the singer and songwriter expressed a heartfelt apology to the people who were looking forward to seeing her on the show.
“I’m so sorry, I feel frustrated and sad, but I need to be better, I need to be healed,” the singer furthered.
Fans flooded the comment section to show their support and love for the music artist, noting that her health is the priority.
“We will wait for you as long as it takes. All that matters is your health. Love you so much!! Praying for you every step of the way,” one wrote.
“Love you and your health is ALWAYS your priority! We understand,” a commenter said.
“Your health is more important, queen. Take care, we will be here waiting for you. We love you!” a follower echoed the same stance.
“We support any decision needed and even though it will be hard to wait for another US tour, I will be right there!!” a fan chimed in.
The postponement of her tour comes months after the London native shared her cancer diagnosis with the public.
“I was diagnosed with early breast cancer,” she revealed in an Instagram post back in June. “Cancer sucks in any but I’m holding onto the word ‘early.’”
Moreover, she also shared that she had been doing a series of tests throughout the journey.
Jessie J’s health update sparked an outpouring of support from fellow artists, including Katy Perry, who commented, “Sending healing energy.”
