Vijay commended the maestro’s accomplishments, including his groundbreaking presentation of Valiant, a Western classical symphony performed at London’s Eventim Apollo Theatre. This achievement made Ilaiyaraaja the first Asian composer to present a Western classical symphony at this esteemed venue. Vijay stated, “Hailing from the village of Pannaipuram in Theni district, he began his musical path with his brothers and entered the film industry through the movie Annakili.
