I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will move to the Seven Network in 2027, following Network 10’s announcement in May that it would be resting the series after twelve consecutive seasons.
For the first time, the network will host an all-new cast of celebrities for a mix of physical trials and jungle-camp drama to compete for the title of King or Queen of the Jungle, with the hosts still to be announced.
Southern Cross Media Group’s managing director, television and streaming, Angus Ross, said the format’s track record made it a natural addition to Seven’s slate.
“I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is one of the world’s most recognisable entertainment formats and we’re incredibly excited to welcome it to Seven in 2027,” he said.
“This is a proven franchise with a passionate fan base, and we look forward to bringing our own fresh energy and ambition to its next chapter.”
ITV Studios Australia chief executive and managing director David Mott said the partnership marked a new era for the format.
“We are absolutely thrilled to partner with the Seven Network to unleash the next massive evolution of I’m A Celebrity… in 2027,” he said.
“For over ten years, Australian audiences have loved this iconic show, and with terrifying trials, hilarious camp drama and heartfelt celebrity revelations, ITV Studios Australia is ready to deliver a brand-new era for the Jungle.”
It comes after a Ten spokesperson said the call to rest the series was made as the network focused on “offering our audience a range of content on all platforms”, adding that Ten looked forward to working with hosts Julia Morris and Robert Irwin on other projects.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is created by Lifted Entertainment, part of ITV Studios, which also distributes the format internationally. It is produced by ITV Studios Australia for the Seven Network and will debut on Seven and 7plus in 2027.
