
New Jersey pop star Halsey was very candid in a recent interview, claiming her record label is preventing her from releasing a new album due to the lackluster sales of her last record. The Edison native and Warren Hills High School grad is currently signed to Columbia Records.
In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that aired Thursday, the singer said her 2024 album “The Great Impersonator,” — a concept album largely detailing her recent health struggles with lupus and T cell disorder, among other chronic ailments — “didn’t perform the way they wanted it to.”
