Vinyl records are hurting the environment. These labels are helping

Here’s proof that, prior to Atlanta’s 2026 FIFA World Cup festivities, significant investments in downtown entertainment aren’t limited to Centennial Yards and South Downtown.

RPB Management Group, the Atlanta-based hospitality company behind downtown concepts Red Phone Booth and Amalfi Cucina + Mercato, announced today a “multi-venue dining and entertainment campus” called 207 Peachtree is set to open in coming months.

207 Peachtree calls for six different concepts spread across a restored, 1920s building—the original home of Regenstein’s Department Store—that spans 45,000 square feet on a prominent downtown corner, where Peachtree Street meets Andrew Young International Boulevard.

Those six venues (including speakeasy-style cocktail and cigar bar Red Phone Booth and Neapolitan eatery Amalfi Cucina + Mercato, which both opened in 2016) will include “immersive” restaurants, bars, and unique venues across four different floors. Each venue has been designed to accommodate private and semi-private corporate events and other social gatherings, too, per RPB reps.

All new concepts are scheduled to open this spring, prior to Atlanta’s first World Cup matches in mid-June.

The 207 Peachtree St. building, designed by Atlanta architecture firm Pringle & Smith, was home to Regenstein’s until the retail landmark closed in 1978. A restoration led by Marx Realty wrapped in 2019, but this spring will mark the first time all floors have been activated since Regenstein’s bowed out nearly 50 years ago. (An original elevator, updated to modern standards, is part of historic architectural elements that have been preserved, per project officials.)

“Our goal is to keep as much of the original soul as possible by honoring what’s here, revealing it and letting guests feel the history,” Greg Grant, RPB president, said in a 207 Peachtree announcement.

The four new concepts slated to open in coming months include the following, as described by RPB reps (edited for length):

  • Aire Rooftop Lounge—an indoor-outdoor lounge with city views, handcrafted cocktails, elevated shareable plates, and tableside service, making it the first time the building’s roof will be activated and open to the public.
  • American Dive—a classic dive bar fueled by live music at night and a jukebox playing blues, jazz, country, and rock by day. The lively, group-friendly space will offer Southern BBQ, ice-cold beer on tap and by the can and bottle, wine, cocktails, and casual bar games like pool, darts, and arcade games. [Features include] a street-level entry that leads down into the building’s historic lower level, once used as a storage vault during the Regenstein era.
  • Peachtree Sporting Club—an upscale, experiential sports bar combining the best of watching sports and gaming with elevated pub fare and a thoughtfully curated beverage menu. Designed in a midcentury-modern style with green tones paired with warm wood finishes, the space balances country-club polish with high-energy, game-day excitement. The third-floor space will feature a 20-foot panoramic TV wall showing football, baseball, soccer, hockey, tennis, and other sports, [alongside] seven tournament-grade simulator bays, each designed to accommodate approximately 14 guests for golf, soccer, skeet shooting, and more.

  • Grand Ballroom—a 10,000-square-foot event space for weddings, galas, corporate events, and large-scale celebrations for 300 guests or more. Located on the second floor of 207 Peachtree, the historic-meets-luxury venue will feature white, gold, and tan interiors with exposed brick walls, 14-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, crystal chandeliers, and expansive windows with sweeping views of the city.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of [downtown’s] continued resurgence while helping restore the building as a destination,” said Stephen de Haan, RPB founder and chairman. “With so much happening in our city over the next few years… it’s an exciting time to bring 207 Peachtree to the neighborhood.”
