UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer was loudly booed by the Royal Variety Performance audience after his voice was introduced in a comedy sketch.
The awkward scene unfolded during a routine by radio impressionists Dead Ringers, performed by Jon Culshaw, Jan Ravens, Lewis MacLeod and Duncan Wisbey.
As the sketch rattled through a string of political and celebrity impressions, the mere mention of Starmer’s voice sparked a wave of boos from the packed Royal Albert Hall.
Speaking with Former Government Minister James Price, Talk’s Kevin O’Sullivan says: “Booing the whole concept of Keir Starmer!”
