Lifestyle influencer Yarely Ashley Hermosillo was killed by a stray bullet during a road rage incident between two other vehicles, Arizona police confirmed with celebrity.land. She was 27.
On Friday night in Glendale, Arizona, a verbal altercation between a pair of drivers escalated to lethal levels once they stopped at a red light at a commercial-area intersection and continued to clash.
The shooter brandished a gun and fired randomly, sending a bullet through the passenger side window of the car Hermosillo’s boyfriend was driving. Her 3-year-old son and mother were also in the car, which was not involved in the deadly dispute.
The content creator was hit in the head and rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on Saturday.
Later that night, suspect Jesus Preciado Dousten was arrested and charged for second degree murder, aggravated assault, illegal possession of a firearm, and endangerment, according to court documents provided to celebrity.land. He remains in custody on a $1 million bond.
In a GoFundMe launched to raise money for funeral expenses, Hermosillo’s family remembered her as “a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a beautiful soul whose light touched everyone who knew her.”
