An influencer has shared that her daughter needs a skin graft after a severe skin burn.
Dee, a Dutch content creator who shares her life with her husband and two young daughters, revealed in an Instagram post on March 10 that her 3-year-old daughter had to get a skin graft after getting a severe burn on her arm.
“Last weekend, while we were at a sleepover, our little Guusje got into hot water,” wrote the content creator in a translated post. “Despite the incredibly quick action, a skin graft is needed to repair her arm.”
Dee added, “It’s remarkable to see how resilient a child is and how, despite these difficult days, she still puts a smile on our faces.”

In a post to her Instagram Stories, the influencer also shared what appeared to be a collection of cards Guusje had received, as well as a teddy bear balloon with a heart.
Dee did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
In the comments of the post, fans shared warm messages wishing Guusje a speedy recovery.
“Oh no, how terrible for you and Guusje 😢 a lot of strength and get well soon ❤️,” wrote one.

Dee, who has over 1.5 million followers on Instagram, is known for posting beauty and lifestyle content, documenting her travels across Europe. She and her husband welcomed Guusje, their first daughter, on Sept. 11, 2022. Dee gave birth to their second daughter, Elin, on May 3, 2024.
