Sylvester Stallone and his family have settled into their Florida mansion after saying goodbye to Los Angeles last year.
“We looked at some of the houses built after Covid, and they were monstrosities,” the actor, 79.=, said of his and wife Jennifer Flavin’s search for a new home in Veranda magazine’s September/October cover story published on Thursday, August 14. “Monumental structures, but none of them embraced you or made you feel warm. You felt as though you were in a hotel lobby.”
The couple, who have been married for nearly three decades, ultimately landed on a charming estate in Palm Beach, which was built in 2014.
“When we saw it, it automatically felt inviting,” Stallone gushed.
Stallone and Flavin, 57, hired renowned interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard to help make their house a home. The property is filled with artwork, from sculpture pieces in the entryway to numerous paintings hanging in every room. Stallone also turned a hallway into his own gallery, and even switches out the pieces every so often.
“I consider it like a wardrobe. You can only wear the same shirt so many times before you go, ‘God, I’d like to see if this other color works [with it].’ With art, you can take a piece that you’ve become … maybe not blasé about, but you’re not exactly overwhelmed by it anymore,” he said of his extensive collection. You move that piece to another room — now you’re invigorated! It’s like furniture: messing around, moving it around, constantly restimulating our minds.”

Stallone’s home also has a screening room, gym, pool and private beach. The screening room pays homage to Stallone and his film career, as countless mementos are on display, including the knife from First Blood and his robe from Rocky.
“The screening room definitely has a theme. It’s about where I came from,” he shared.
While Stallone and Flavin’s mansion has immaculate vibes, the former model added that the place is meant to be a space for their family. The pair share three daughters: Sophia, 28, Sistine, 27, and Scarlet, 23. Stallone is also father to son Seargeoh, 44, whom he welcomed with ex-wife Sasha Czack. (The exes also shared son Sage, who died in July 2012 at age 36.)
“I’ve always made every house we’ve ever had a home. I don’t care if someone spills something. I can replace the rug or get it cleaned,” Flavin explained. “We have three dogs and a cat and lots of children — nothing we own is precious. Our family is precious, but the material things are not precious.”
Stallone and Flavin revealed during a 2024 episode of their reality series, The Family Stallone, that they were leaving California and relocating to Florida.
“After long, hard consideration, your mother and I have decided, [it’s] time to move on and leave the state of California permanently,” the Oscar nominee told his daughters during a family dinner. “And, we’re going to Florida.”
