Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce spent some time in London last week, enjoying date nights on Thursday and Friday. But they left and went to Greece for a very special celebration over the weekend: the wedding of Kelce’s Greek Kansas City Chiefs teammate George Karlaftis and Kaia Harris in Glyfada.
Huffington Post Greece reported that Swift was seen “dancing late into the night” with both Kelce and the couple at the reception, which was held at One&Only Aesthesis. The outlet wrote that guests were struck by her kindness and that she greeted everyone. The nuptials were kept largely private, with guests turning their phones off.
An onlooker caught a glimpse of Swift on Saturday and shared a look at her in a dark sleeveless dress on X:
Karlaftis spoke to People about his nuptials in an interview published this morning. The couple had 220 guests, which included some of the NFL player’s current and former teammates.
“I think my favorite part was the ceremony because I got really emotional, more than I expected to,” he said. “I didn’t expect to cry as much as I did during the ceremony. I was borderline bawling when I saw Kaia and her dad walk down the aisle.”
They had an international buffet station during the reception, and the couple generally set out to have “the best weekend of their lives with their friends and family,” he said, adding that he was “most stressed out about whether everyone was having a great time.”
“I didn’t know how everyone would blend, bringing our Greek family and friends, and all of our friends from different parts of our lives, together,” he added of his three-day nuptials, which included a welcome reception, traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony, and a farewell cookout. “The first night, I had 25 different worlds colliding. We have such cool friends, and the people we invited were just the best; everyone got along, made new friends, and danced together. I couldn’t have asked for a better day and night, honestly.”
