Having a baby with someone will test your relationship — it’s inevitable! The sleepless nights, joy and wonder of seeing your little one, finding out how strong you really are during the most transformational part of your life…how could anyone not be affected? For Megan Fox and ex Machine Gun Kelly, welcoming baby Saga Blade in March drastically changed their relationship, according to insiders. And, in their case, the change might be for the better!
Sources-in-the-know told PEOPLE that the Jennifer’s Body star has been spending a lot of time with the “cliché” singer, despite ending their on-again, off-again relationship before their baby girl was born. (They started dating in 2020, were engaged in 2022, and broke up in November 2024 before announcing they were expecting a baby.)

“They’re together often, but he’s going on tour soon,” the source said. “He spends pretty much every night at her house with the baby, and they act like a couple, but they haven’t put a label on it or made anything official.”
Fox, who is also mom to sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 9, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, reportedly loves how much MGK (born Colsn Baker) has stepped up since their baby was born.
“Megan’s very happy with how he’s stepped up for both her and the baby,” the insider told the outlet. “While they still have separate homes, they spend a lot of time together as a family. They’re putting the baby first, and it’s brought them closer in many ways.”
“Things are great now,” the insider added. “He’s amazing with the baby and she very much enjoys spending time with him.”
MGK, who is also dad to daughter Casie, 16, with ex Emma Cannon, were pictured on vacation together with their baby in July, in photos obtained by DeuxMoi. A few months prior to this, they were photographed running errands in Calabasas together.
“Whatever issues they have, Megan and MGK both are on the same page when it comes to co-parenting,” an insider told PEOPLE in March. “Right now they’re amicable.”
“No one would be surprised if they gave their relationship another try down the line,” the source added. “But right now they’re focused on what’s best for their daughter.”
A baby isn’t a Band-Aid to fix a relationship, but it can inspire two people to step up with a new responsibility in their lives. Whether they end up romantically back together or just amicable co-parents, we’re wishing MGK and Fox the best!
