Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried’s 2025 hit The Housemaid has been renewed for a sequel after being a major hit at box office in 2025.
The movie is based on the 2022 novel written be Freida McFadden which follows the thrilling story of housemaid Millie, played by Sydney and her employers, the Winchester family played by Amanda and Brandon Sklenar.
The movie earned a staggering $135 million against its budget of $35 million making it a financial success.
However, the discourse that has taken over internet is the question that who was the star of the movie.
While the movie was marketed as a Sydney-Amanda starrer, many believed the success owing to Amanda’s brilliant performance as Nina Winchester.
