Debra Messing, considered one of the biggest LGBTQ+ icons for many years due to her performance as the best friend to a gay man (played by a straight guy) on Will & Grace, has been on a “social media crash-out” for months while reacting to the rise of Zohran Mamdani in the polls and his eventual victory in the New York City mayoral election of 2025.
In terms of intensity, the chaotic pictures and videos shared by Messing reached an all-time high during the last few days prior to voting in this election — and social media users are carefully documenting the wild crash-out as it unfolds in real-time across social networks. Thankfully, some of these reactions are also funny, which have helped us digest the shocking things that the Will & Grace star has said on the internet as of late.
