Why did RR take down X post involving Arjun Kapoor?
Earlier in 2026, the Delhi High Court had passed an order protecting Hindi film actor Arjun Kapoor’s personality and publicity rights. The order restricted the unauthorised use of the actor’s name, image, voice and likeness, especially in cases involving AI-generated deepfakes, manipulated content, fake endorsements and misleading digital material.
The Delhi court also observed that while celebrities have the right to protect their identity from defamatory or commercial misuse, ordinary satire and public commentary cannot be completely restricted.

Due to the court’s order, RR did not want to take any chance and therefore got rid off the post before getting dragged into legal complexities.
