No longer about grunts on the ground floor of Pierpoint, the fourth season of Industry revolved around the widening estrangement between Harper (Myha’la) and Yasmin (Marisa Abela). Harper runs SternTao with Eric (Ken Leung) while Yasmin tries to amass political power through a loveless marriage to depressed CEO-turned-politician Henry (Kit Harington). Most of the plot this season involved Tender, a fintech company trying to pivot out of the adult video sector with some deeply questionable numbers in its bookkeeping.

Is Industry Renewed for Season 5?
Yes. Industry is renewed for a fifth and final season. The renewal was announced on February 23, days prior to the season 4 finale on March 1.
Industry creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay issued a statement explaining that they always had an end in mind. “Unlike some of our characters, we know when to leave a party,” they said. “We’d like to thank our evangelical fan base, especially those who have watched from day one. Finally: we owe everything to our crew and the best cast on TV for making our writing live. The characters will live on because of their world class performances. Seeing the HBO ident in front of our work will never stop being a thrill. It remains the best place to make television, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration well into the future.”
The showrunners expressed gratitude to HBO, the BBC, and production studio Bad Wolf for believing in their vision. “We’re privileged to have joined the small, esteemed club of dramas that have run for five seasons on HBO. This March marks a decade since we first began to conceive of the world of Industry and it exists because of the unwavering faith and vision of our partners and former partners at HBO—Casey, Frannie, Kara, Cela, Sam, Kathleen, and Max.”
When Will Industry Season 5 Stream on HBO Max?
There is no confirmed premiere date for Industry‘s fifth season at this time. Given the show’s two-year turnaround time for new seasons (going back to its first season in 2020), it’s a solid guess that season 5 will premiere in 2028. While that sounds like a long time before we catch up with everyone again, two years is enough time to squeeze in a start-to-finish rewatch from the beginning.
