Is Monica Dutton Dead In Yellowstone’s ‘Marshals’?

[Spoiler Alert] Yellowstone’s direct sequel series, Marshals, sadly kills off one of its major characters off-screen. The first episode of the 2026 show reveals that Kayce Dutton’s wife and Tate’s mother, Monica Long, was battling cancer and ended up losing her life to it. The last time we saw Monica was in the Yellowstone Season 5 finale, where she was helping Kayce start his own ranch in the East Camp with the 300 cattle he had purchased.
