Prince Harry managed to fit in quite a few important things during his UK visit. Alongside Meghan Markle and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Harry met with King Charles and Queen Camilla. The family of four also reportedly paid a visit to Princess Diana’s grave.
Now, RadarOnline is reporting that Harry’s been accused of filming the “deeply private family visit” as part of a documentary observing the 30th anniversary of Diana’s tragic death. Sources alleged to the outlet that there was “recording equipment” at the site.
“There was a clear awareness that elements of the visit could be captured for a future project like a Netflix documentary from Harry, or social media posts, which has unsettled members of the family,” one source said.
Another added, “This was meant to be a moment of reflection, but there were worries it might be reframed for a wider audience.”
A separate insider familiar with the plans revealed, “The intention could well be to include deeply personal material in a documentary tied to the anniversary next year.”
These allegations have reportedly upset Prince William. An insider close to him told RadarOnline, “He feels strongly that certain spaces should remain entirely private, especially given their personal significance.”
Additional sources recently told the National Examiner that William is furious about Harry and Meghan’s reported desire to collaborate with Netflix on the documentary.
“As everyone knows he hates Netflix with a passion, just like all the royals do back in England because of The Crown and the way they were portrayed on the show,” a source explained. “The show completely trashed their grandfather and essentially accused him of being a cheating dog, and it gave a very nasty portrayal of their father too.”
They continued, “It sickens William that his own brother would work with them at all, let alone on something related to their beloved mother.”
“[Harry] knows exactly how his brother feels about Netflix, so the fact that he’s going ahead with this is such a slap in the face,” the insider added. “It’s like nothing is sacred with him when it comes to the almighty American dollar. … If there was even a sliver of hope for reconciliation after these peace talks, this has just totally blown that.”
