The 51st season of Saturday Night Live has been a bonafide success so far, thanks to hosts like Miles Teller and musical guests such as Doja Cat. Every installment has been met with major laughs…but is there a new episode tonight?
Here’s everything you need to know before you tune in!
Is there a new episode of ‘SNL’ tonight?
Yes, SNL is all new tonight! Actor Glenn Powell of Top Gun: Maverick (and upcoming film The Running Man) will be making his SNL hosting debut alongside British artist Olivia Dean as musical guest, who’ll also be appearing on the show for the first time.
In a hilarious promo for tonight’s episode, Powell attempts to hype himself up for the gig by dancing through Studio 8H (in an homage to Christopher Walken‘s iconic dance in the music video for Fatboy Slim’s “Weapon of Choice”). Unfortunately, his spirited routine ends in disaster (and a neck brace).
Who is hosting next week and who is the musical guest?
No announcements about next week’s show have been made at this point.
Who’s hosted the show so far this season?
Bad Bunny hosted the season premiere on Oct. 4 (his second time hosting) alongside SNL newbie Doja Cat as musical guest.
Former SNL cast member Amy Poehler returned to the show for her second time as an individual host (and third overall, after hosting alongside Tina Fey) on Oct. 11. She was joined by musical guest Role Model in his very first SNL performance.
On Oct. 18, Sabrina Carpenter made her first appearance as SNL host and second as musical guest.
Miles Teller returned to Studio 8H on Nov. 1 for his second time hosting (he first headlined the show on Oct. 1, 2022). The Top Gun: Maverick star was joined by Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile as musical guest.
Comedian Nikki Glaser, who earned an Emmy nomination for her special Someday You’ll Die and won raves for her stint as host of the 2025 Golden Globes, made her debut as host alongside musical guest sombr, a fellow SNL first-timer, on Nov. 8.
What time does ‘SNL’ air?
SNL airs at 11:30 p.m. EST / 8:30 p.m. PST.
Where can I watch ‘SNL’?
New episodes of SNL air live on NBC and Peacock on Saturdays (they’re available to stream later).
Who else is hosting and performing on ‘SNL’ this season?
At this time, no other hosts or musical guests have been announced for Season 51.
