King Charles and Prince William are expected to make separate trips to the United States next year in order to revitalise a trade deal between No 10 and Trump.
Advanced talks about a visit by the King are allegedly underway and is set to take place some time in April.
Prince William is also due to make a separate visit to the US later in the year during the World Cup.
The late Queen Elizabeth II last accepted an invitation to the US from George W Bush in 2007.
