Numerous fans decided to match the YouTube star’s level of excitement as they decided to surprise him when he arrived in Portland for his US tour.
In a clip posted by Drama Now on X (formerly Twitter), iShowSpeed can be seen looking at the crowd of fans through his car’s sunroof as he moves around the streets. On the other hand, the fans can be seen chasing the car he is in and screaming and cheering for him loudly.
iShowSpeed seemed to be awed by the reaction he is receiving from the fans. However, people online equated them to zombies trying to chase down prey. Along with the video, Drama Now stated, “IShowSpeed had Portland moving like a WALKING DEAD episode.” On the other hand, the renowned streamer is also heard commenting, “This s**t crazy.”
Meanwhile, social media users gathered in the comments section and couldn’t help but share their views on the crowd’s reaction. One wrote, “My goodness. Acting like zombies fr fr.” Another user compared the fans to the zombies from Brad Pitt’s 2013 movie. They stated, “Naw that’s them world war z zombies.”
Furthermore, a third user described that iShowSpeed was “moving like the president” in the clip. One more user also questioned why the fans would run like that. They wrote, “I don’t get the point of chasing him around town just to get body slammed by his security.”
According to a report by KATU, a representative of the Portland Police addressed the situation. They said, “We were not aware of this individual’s trip to Portland prior to his arrival. Of course, now we know he is here, and we’re monitoring the situation.”
