Cort St. George claims he had a key role in distributing Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s infamous sex tape, and now, he wants to “clear his conscience.”
Anderson, 58, and Lee’s sex tape was famously stolen from a safe in their home in 1995. St. George came across the tape two years later when a friend — who had received the copy of the tape from an unnamed studio exec — showed it to him. He then claimed he sold the video to the founder of Internet Entertainment Group, Seth Warshavsky.
“I was flabbergasted by what we saw. I just started working as a consultant at IEG in Seattle and I said this guy will probably want this video,” St. George said in A&E’s documentary series, Secrets of Celebrity Sex Tapes.
Later, St. George allegedly offered to sell the tape to Warshavsky.
“He said yes. I go, ‘Let me see if he’ll give us $10,000.’ I couldn’t really believe that Seth was willing to pay for it,” he continued. “Now I know why he was willing to pay for it actually, he just wanted my signature on the dotted line in case the s**t hit the fan he had somebody to blame.”

Nearly three decades later, St. George said that he feels guilty for playing a part in essentially upending Anderson’s and Lee’s lives at the time.
“They fought so hard against it and it did so much damage in their life, and that’s again why I’ve done this interview and some other interviews just to make sure the story’s straight,” St. George explained.
“I feel like I’m constantly wanting to clear my conscience,” he added, “even though I had very little to do with the whole thing.”
