If you’re an independent film buff, there’s an event this weekend in Evansville that you’ll find worthy of giving two thumbs up.
The Victory International Film Festival will run Thursday and Friday evenings at Showplace Cinemas East (1801 Morgan Center Drive), and then on Saturday for a full day of events at Victory Theatre on Main Street in Downtown Evansville.

Question-and-answer sessions with filmmaker panels
The world premiere of “Wet Bulb Temperature” by local filmmaker Joe Atkinson
