IU, Byeon Woo-seok receive royal welcome at K-drama ‘Perfect Crown’ press event — in pictures

The cast of the upcoming MBC series “Perfect Crown” held a press conference at the Josun Palace Hotel in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, on Monday to celebrate the show’s premiere scheduled for April 10.

Starring singer and actor IU and actor Byeon Woo-seok, the series is set in an alternate version of Korea under a constitutional monarchy. It follows Seong Hee-ju, a chaebol heiress frustrated by her commoner status, and Lee Wan, the king’s second son, whose position in the royal family limits his power.

Actors Noh Sang-hyun, Gong Seung-yeon, Yu Su-bin and Lee Yeon, as well as director Park Joon-hwa, joined IU and Byeon Woo-seok at the event, posing for photos and answering questions from the media.

The series premieres on April 10 and will also be available on Disney+.
