Grammy-nominated rapper, singer-songwriter and Louisville native Jack Harlow will bring his Monica Tour to the 2,000-person Old Forester’s Paristown Hall on Saturday, Aug. 29, in support of his new album “Monica,” which was released March 13.
The 17-city tour begins Aug. 4 in Brooklyn, New York, before concluding Sept. 21 in Oakland, California.
According to a release, Harlow was inspired to write “Monica” after his move to New York City. He recorded the album at New York’s Electric Lady, one of music’s most iconic studios.
Fans can sign up early for presale access on Harlow’s website, which begins Thursday, March 26, at 10 a.m. General on-sale begins Friday, March 27, at 10 a.m.
The tour will also offer a VIP package and experience for fans, including priority access to the floor, a gift item, early entry and other perks.
Harlow, 28, is no stranger to the city’s music scene; the Atherton graduate has performed at the KFC Yum! Center, Louisville Palace and Mercury Ballroom in recent years. He has also performed across the state in cities such as Bowling Green, Covington and Owensboro as part of his “No Place Like Home” tour.
Harlow’s career launched in 2015, one year before graduating Atherton, and his first major breakthrough came via 2020’s “What’s Poppin.” Since then, he has amassed billions of streams. His 2023 hit “Lovin’ On Me” spent six combined weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Ky., has described the Kentuckian-turned star as an ambassador for the commonwealth.
