RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Jacobs Entertainment has elected to demolish Bonanza Inn rather than renovate it as part of their redevelopment efforts near the J Resort.
The company completed a cost analysis for renovating the Bonanza Inn, and determined that, given the recent increases in construction costs, renovation is no longer a financially viable option.
Jacobs Entertainment has filed a permit to demolish the Bonanza Inn to allow for future construction with a larger scope than initially planned.
The timeline for future construction has yet to be determined.
