James Gunn recently shared a touching story from the set of Peacemaker Season 2 on social media, connecting it to his upcoming film Superman (2025).
The filmmaker revealed that he showed the first trailer for Superman to one of the film’s stunt coordinators, @lonehart_stunts, while the latter was in full zombie makeup during the filming of Episode 8 of Peacemaker.
Gunn wrote, “Showed one of our Superman Stunt Coordinators, @Lonehart_stunts, the first trailer for Superman while he was playing a zombie in Episode 8 of Peacemaker. His daughter is Olivia, the little girl in the trailer. He started crying immediately.”
The post, shared on October 16, 2025, received over 128,000 likes. It also drew thousands of comments from fans and fellow cast members. The stunt performer later confirmed Gunn’s story in the comments, writing, “Thank you for this moment my friend!!!!!
