The James Library & Center for the Arts in Norwell is hosting a full slate of fall events, including concerts, art exhibits and interactive workshops, all designed to engage the South Shore community.
Located at 24 West St., the historic arts center is offering programs through November that include a juried art exhibition, a piano concert by internationally acclaimed pianist Einav Yarden, and hands-on art sessions for all ages, according to a community announcement.

Fall Juried Art Exhibition

Piano Concert: Einav Yarden

- Tickets: $40 adults, $30 seniors, $20 studentsYarden, praised by The Washington Post for her “exceptionally vivid playing,” will perform a program spanning centuries and styles in the intimate James Concert Hall.
Art Unplugged – October

- Admission: Free, registration requiredParticipants will learn to needle felt a pumpkin using wool roving and a barbed needle, guided by Pop Up Art School. No experience is needed.
Art For Your Mind: American Art Explored
- Time: 1 p.m. Oct. 22
- Admission: $10 per personThis visual lecture explores American history through art, from colonial portraits to abstract expressionism. The program encourages new ways of interpreting visual culture.
Art Unplugged – November
- Time: 6 p.m. Nov. 4
- Admission: Free, registration requiredThis team-based maker event invites participants to transform everyday materials into creative works. Open to grade school age and up.
