Turnstiles will open at 1pm and fans are encouraged to access the stadium early to make the most of the pre-match entertainment, which will feature:
- 1pm – Live DJ set by Kaci Lee Lynch
- 2.15pm – Team warm-up
- 2.35pm – Live music by Jamie Webster
Plus, there will be face-painting and fun activities on the concourses.
There have also been some important safety and security changes at Anfield relating to matchday operations.
Every adult – across general admission and hospitality – will undergo a search before entering the stadium. This change has become industry best practice among major sporting events, concerts and other Premier League clubs.
Turnstiles at Anfield open two hours before kick-off for general admission and three hours for hospitality, allowing enough time for the necessary checks before entry.
Supporters are advised that they should get ready to be searched by removing any keys or mobile phones from their pockets before they reach the turnstiles, as this will help speed up the process.
