Jana Duggar had another big reason to celebrate days before her pregnancy reveal.
The former 19 Kids and Counting star commemorated her first wedding anniversary with husband Stephen Wissmann via Instagram on Saturday, August 16.
“Just celebrated one year of marriage with my favorite person, and it has been the best year!” Jana, 35, wrote. “I look forward to many more years together!”
As part of the milestone, the couple stopped by Engine House Cafe before shopping for deals at their local TJ Maxx. They ended the day with a steakhouse dinner and ice cream.
“Love this journey with My Love!” she wrote via Instagram. “Here’s to many more years to come!!”
Jana and Stephen, 32, got married in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, in August 2024, two months after getting engaged. The pair exchanged vows in front of nearly 500 guests.
While the wedding was described by the bride as “elegant” and “classic,” the couple’s anniversary was much simpler — and more intimate.
“I know this is a day late, but yesterday I was SO blessed to have celebrated one year of life and marriage with my best friend!” Stephen wrote via Instagram on Saturday. “Thru the ups and downs, life with you only keeps getting better and better! Love you more than ever @janamduggar!!!!!”

This year of marriage will bring a new family member into Jana and Stephen’s lives.
On Monday, August 18, the couple announced they are expecting their first baby in early 2026.
“We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family!” the couple wrote via Instagram in a joint post. “We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!”
After sharing the news, the parents-to-be received well-wishes from several family members, including Jessa Duggar.

Jana and Stephen — whose sister Hannah Wissmann is married to Jana’s brother Jeremiah — initially met through their families in 2011. They briefly dated between 2020 and 2022 before romantically reconnecting in early 2024.
“It was like, ‘What are we doing? We still enjoy each other. We still really appreciate each other,’” Jana recalled to People before her wedding day. “I had been a slower mover on it, but just over time, his character, his coming back, still loving me no matter what. I know we have a big crazy family and still kind of putting up with a lot of things. I’m like, my goodness, there are not too many people that do that. He must really, genuinely care about me.”
