SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — In celebration of what would have been the 100th birthday of jazz icon Miles Davis on Tuesday, May 26, KSDS Jazz 88 will be transforming into “MILES 100.”
One of the last remaining Jazz music stations will be doing the “100 Days of Summer” campaign from May 25 through September 7.
For those 100 days, Jazz 88 will spotlight the music, legacy, innovation, and influence of Miles Davis through special programming, live events and community celebrations designed to honor one of the most influential artists in music history.
Legendary Jazz musician Dave Scott stopped by KUSI to chat about Davis’ legacy and the importance of his music.
