But I’ve been turned into this political figure that I’m actually not.”
Despite welcoming the invitation to the barbecue with Vance and enthusiastically sharing a photo with the prominent politician, Tom admitted he had been nervous about the encounter.

Looking back on the meeting, Tom characterized the politician as “a normal bloke”.
