So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
SECRET WORLD – “GOOD FAITH”
Australian post-hardcore/melodic hardcore band Secret World (members of Speed, Downside, Hand of Mercy, and others) are opening part of High Vis’ North American fall tour (including the NYC show on 10/9 at Warsaw) and they have a new EP called Tomorrow Is A Mystery To Me coming out on September 19 via Last Ride/Sunday Drive/ICE GRILL$. First single “Good Faith” just might be their catchiest, most alt-rock-leaning song yet.

SYDNEY MINSKY SARGEANT (WORKING MEN’S CLUB) – “SUMMER SONG”

WINTER – “HIDE-A-LULLABY” FT. TANUKICHAN
Winter’s new album Adult Romantix arrives later this month, and she’s shared another single, “Hide-A-Lullaby,” which features Tanukichan. “The song explores themes of the inner self-sabotager, the secrets hidden in the corners of the mind, and the dark forest as a symbol for the subconscious,” Winter says. “It was amazing to have Hannah van Loon (Tanukichan) sing this one with me—her velvety, whispery voice perfectly complements the song’s haunted, mysterious romantic imagery.”
