Days of Our Lives alum Jen Lilley (Theresa) just shared some major Hallmark news with fans.
Nearly four years after leaving Hallmark to sign an exclusive deal with Great American Family, Lilley is headed home again.
The actress took to Instagram to share her exciting news. In a video shared from a trailer, Lilley used a voiceover of Ryan Gosling’s Saturday Night Live monologue in 2024, where he joked he wasn’t going to talk about the Barbie movie or his character in the film, Ken, only to talk about it.
Lilley showed a binder in her hand that revealed the name of her latest Hallmark movie: A Royal Setting. The film also stars Hallmark hunk Dan Jeannotte, best known for the Good Witch films and show, as well as various Hallmark Christmas movies.
“Well…the secrets out” was written across the video.
In her caption, Lilley revealed that A Royal Setting premieres on Hallmark on Saturday, March 28. “We’re so excited to officially announce A Royal Setting, starring Jen Lilley and Dan Jeannotte, premiering March 28 on Hallmark! Get ready for romance fit for royalty 👑💖,” she wrote.
Fans flocked to the comments to react to Lilley’s news, including another Hallmark leading lady.Lacey Chabert expressed, “So excited for this!! ❤️,” to which Lilley replied, “@thereallacey 👏❤️👑Me too!!”
A couple of fans welcomed back Lilley by saying, “Welcome back Jen!! 🙌 I AM SOOOO HAPPY!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️” and “Welcome Back!!!!”
“YAY!!!!!!! Best news ever!!!! 👏👏👏” insisted a fan. One fan added, “Can’t wait to watch it. Your presence and charisma shine through in every role you take on. ❤️”
More fan comments included, “So excited to see you in this new movie! Congrats, Jen! 👑❤️🎬✨” and “So excited for you, QUEEN 👑 😍.”

Although soap fans know Lilley best as Theresa from Days of Our Lives or as temporary Maxie on General Hospital, the actress gained popularity on Hallmark. Lilley starred in numerous movies for the network before moving to Great American Family.
News of Lilley’s latest gig comes hot on the heels of the actress admitting she would love to return to the hit Peacock soap.
A Royal Setting premieres on Saturday, March 28, at 8/7c on Hallmark.
