Jennifer Hudson is set to make a notable return to Nashville, bringing her soaring vocals to Bridgestone Arena alongside singer Josh Groban.
The EGOT-winning superstar will perform in Nashville on Tuesday, June 16, joining Groban on his North American tour, which began on June 2 in Montreal. The one-month run will wrap on July 3 in Salt Lake City before he launches his Stage, Screen and Symphony tour in August.
The two have long shared mutual admiration and previously appeared together on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” in 2022, a moment fans pointed to as early chemistry ahead of their collaboration. Now the five-time Grammy-nominated singer and the highly decorated television host are embarking on a summer tour.

The show is being billed as “two legendary voices, one unforgettable evening,” with Hudson describing it as an intimate, voice-driven experience for fans inside the 20,000-person-capacity arena.
“I think people will be very pleasantly surprised just to see our worlds coming together and how well they complement each other,” Hudson told The Tennessean. “It’s a musical space. It’s for music lovers and it’s purely about the voices.”
Hudson last performed at Bridgestone Arena in November 2021, joined by country superstar Chris Stapleton for a standout Aretha Franklin tribute at the CMA Awards.
“Nashville is one of the most meaningful places to perform in the world,” Hudson said. “People know music and love it in a different way. I respect that so much. It just feels like home.”

“I’m excited just being able to return to the base of it all,” she said. “Music is home to me.”
Her collaboration with Groban also includes their rendition of the 1955 classic “Unchained Melody,” featured on his latest album “Cinematic,” released May 8, 2026. Hudson said their first rehearsal of the song came during the first night of the tour and confirmed their undeniable chemistry.
“When we did our first rehearsal of ‘Unchained Melody,’ which was only yesterday because that was literally our first time singing it together ever, we did it one time and that’s all we had to do,” she said. “That felt dead in the pocket. It just made it all make sense.”
Hudson said the tour feels perfectly timed, arriving during a rewarding and expansive phase of her career.
“It’s such a great time and I feel just in my full capacity. I feel like I know who I am as an artist and as a person. And for me, it’s a celebration of that and I’m sharing it,” she added.
Above all, she hopes fans leave each show feeling touched by the experience and with a lasting sense of connection.
“I like to make every setting feel intimate, no matter how big it is. And my favorite thing about singing in an arena is to fill it with my voice,” she said.
