
Jennifer Lawrence on why she missed out on Quentin Tarantino’s film
Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence has weighed in on her not doing Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar-winning film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Jennifer recalled in a recent interview that she missed out on bagging the role of Sharon Tate, eventually played by Margot Robbie in the 2019 film.
As per the Oscar-winning star, she lost the role became internet trolls believed she was not pretty enough for the role.
Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, she said “And then everybody was like, ‘She’s not pretty enough to play Sharon Tate…And then they didn’t”.
“No, but I’m pretty sure that happened. Or he just was never considering me for the part, and the internet just like went out of their way to call me ugly” she added.
The film comprised of a star-studded cast including Leonardo DiCaprio , Brad Pitt, Sydney Sweeney, Margot Robbie, Austin Butler and many more.
It also secured 10 nominations at the 92nd Academy Awards and ended up winning two.
The movie follows a washed-up actor Rick, played by Leonardo and his stunt double, played by Brad who are trying to reclaim fame.
