The actress said she’s joined in on pop culture discussions in the app’s comment section.
The reveal came during a recent interview promoting her new film, Die, My Love, with Robert Pattinson.

Jennifer Lawrence has found an unlikely pastime between red carpets and film premieres: debating strangers online.

While promoting her new movie Die, My Love, the actress revealed that she maintains a TikTok account, and she doesn’t just scroll. “I get in fights on TikTok,” Lawrence told co-star Robert Pattinson during a joint Fandango interview. “I get in fights in the comment section.”

Lawrence said her activity on the app began with pop culture discourse. “It started off with Real Housewives kind of, like, fights, back and forth, Kardashians, that kind of thing,” she explained. “And then it got really intense when I started commenting on the Royal Family.”

The actress clarified that she wasn’t trying to stir controversy. “A lot of people just did not know that the Mountbattens, Queen Elizabeth II, is married to her first cousin. It just is. That’s just a fact,” she said. When Pattinson joked she’d reached an “extremely niche part of TikTok,” Lawrence replied, “I guess I rage-bait on TikTok.”

The confession follows a busy week for Lawrence, who also spoke to ELLE timed to her partnership with Longines and the release of Die, My Love. The actress reflected on the film’s exploration of motherhood, saying, “The world hasn’t really engulfed it yet—what you become when you become a mother, not only emotionally, but physiologically and physically. It’s so animalistic and so powerful.”

She also praised her co-star and director, adding, “Rob was exactly what I had hoped he would be. He’s just a really sweet goofball, but extremely talented,” and called working with Lynne Ramsay “a pinch-me moment.”
