Jennifer Lopez appeared on The Howard Stern Show for the first time after Howard Stern spent decades mocking her.
The Kiss of the Spider Woman actress, 56, admitted she was “always scared to come on the show,” during her Wednesday, October 15, appearance, per Daily Mail.
Stern, 71, has criticized the multi-hyphenate star on everything from her career choices to her dating life — even calling her relationship with Ben Affleck “ridiculous” in 2003, the outlet reported.
The America’s Got Talent alum later slammed her role as a judge on American Idol during a 2012 press conference, reportedly saying, “I don’t even know what she’s doing there.”

The previous year, while listening to J.Lo’s “On the Floor,” he joked to co-host Robin Quivers that the beat was “the sound of me banging my head against the wall,” per The Things.
The Wedding Planner star claimed during their Wednesday sit-down that she was afraid she might “say something” she would regret.
However, during their discussion, Lopez opened up about her 2024 divorce from Affleck, 53, explaining, “I wanted to share my life with someone. I want someone to be there to share my big, important moments on the red carpet.”
“I didn’t hide from it. And I spoke about it,” the Maid in Manhattan actress continued. “And I think now, after what’s happened in the past few years to me and to my children, I feel like … I just want to keep that part so much more quiet in my life.”
“It’s difficult to be under that microscope,” she added.
