Jennifer Lopez made her debut at Coachella in an unexpected way. The “On the Floor” singer joined David Guetta’s set on Saturday, April 12, to provide the vocals for their new song, “Save Me Tonight.” It marked her first time hitting the stage as a performer as well as her first time singing the track live.
For the special moment, Lopez wore a silver plunging high-cut catsuit covered in glittering rhinestones. She accessorized the look with matching thigh-high boots, a hooded green feathered Julien Macdonald bolero, and aviator glasses.
“I invited a friend! … Make some noise for Jennifer Lopez!” Guetta told the crowd, moments before she hit the stage. After delivering a rousing performance of the track, the Kiss of the Spider Woman actress gave Guetta a hug and went backstage to take photos with her backup dancers.
The performance comes after Lopez recently wrapped up her Up All Night Live in Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on March 28. “Save Me Tonight” arrived on March 6 and marked the first track she released since the 2025 Kiss of the Spider Woman soundtrack.
Though Lopez was just a Coachella guest performer this year, she thoroughly documented her experience, sharing pictures and videos of herself on the way to the festival.
The singer reflected on the experience in the caption of her Instagram Reel, which featured several clips of the Coachella performance. “The most fun day!! ‘Save Me Tonight’ with David live for the first time at MY FIRST COACHELLA was so special,” she wrote. “My happy era is rewriting everything. Don’t ever stop surprising yourself.”
