During an appearance on Good Morning America, Jessie J opened up about bonding with Kate Middleton over their respective cancer battles.
The “Domino’ vocalist claimed the Princess of Wales, who announced her remission in January, approached her to say, “Thank you, I know you’ve gone through a tough time.”
Jessie J, who got the all-clear in August after her own cancer diagnosis, replied, “‘I know you have too. I just wanted to acknowledge that — mum to mum, cancer survivor to cancer survivor. I see you.'”

Kate Middleton opened up about her cancer journey during a visit to an Essex hospital. “You put on a sort of brave face. Then it’s like, ‘I can crack on, get back to normal,'” she said. “But actually, the phase afterwards is really difficult. You have to find your new normal and that takes time. It’s a rollercoaster.”

In March 2024, Kate Middleton announced she was undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer. In January, the 43-year-old received a clean bill of health and returned to her royal duties during the Trooping the Colour in June.
