It’s time to refresh your playlist with some exciting new releases!
It’s a packed New Music Friday, bringing together some of pop’s biggest names. BLACKPINK’s JISOO and Zayn Malik join forces for the first time on “Eyes Closed,” an atmospheric, dreamlike ballad released via Blissoo and Warner Records. The song was born after Zayn attended BLACKPINK’s Deadline World Tour with his daughter — and fans have already dubbed it one of the most unexpected yet perfect collaborations of the year. “Eyes Closed” also marks JISOO’s first solo release since her EP Amortage, while Zayn follows the success of his 2024 album Room Under the Stairs.
Madison Beer returns with “Bittersweet,” the second single from her upcoming third studio album, MB3. Out via Epic and Sing It Loud! Records, the track follows September’s “Yes Baby,” leaning further into Beer’s moody pop-R&B sound and building anticipation for the Grammy-nominated singer’s next chapter.
Khalid delivers his most introspective work yet with After the Sun Goes Down, his fourth studio album. Arriving via Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records, the 16-track project explores self-reflection and emotional growth, carried by Khalid’s signature mellow R&B style with subtle electronic flourishes.
PinkPantheress drops her remix project Fancy Some More?, expanding on her May mixtape Fancy That. Out via Warner Records UK, the 22-track release includes features from Kylie Minogue, Doja Cat, SEVENTEEN, Anitta, and Sega Bodega.
Meanwhile, Demi Lovato releases “Kiss,” the third single from her upcoming album It’s Not That Deep (due October 24). Previewed during Paris Fashion Week, the track channels her fiery pop-rock roots, packed with raw energy and emotional tension. “Kiss” follows the singles “Here All Night” and “Fast,” paving the way for Lovato’s dance-pop return.
