John Mayer is reportedly dating a single mom of one who you might recognize from social media.
Mayer, 47, is being romantically linked to Kat Stickler after meeting online. “John sought her out and pursued her,” a source told Us Weekly of the burgeoning romance. “Kat just broke up with someone she had been dating for a few months and thought it would be fun to date again, and was interested in John.”

“He has been actively pursuing her, inviting her places and texting her often,” the source shared. “She is interested and seeing where it goes.”
However, the insider noted that Stickler, 30, who is a mom to 5-year-old daughter MK, “doesn’t think this will be a serious relationship,” but she is “having fun.”
Stickler, who has over 10 million followers on TikTok, shares her daughter with ex-husband Mike Stickler, from whom she separated in 2021. After her divorce, Stickler went on to date Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick for less than a year, ending their relationship in October 2024.
“I am sad to share that Kat and I are no longer together,” Tartick, who was previously engaged to Kaitlyn Bristowe wrote via his Instagram Story at the time. “It’s fair to say that I love hard with all my heart and fall fast. Sometimes in life that works out and other times, it doesn’t. This time it didn’t.”

Mayer, meanwhile, has been publicly single for several years but has been linked to 24-year-old Kiernan Shipka on and off since 2022. He has also had romances with Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.
Last year, Mayer opened up about wanting to get married during an October appearance on Kelly Rizzo’s Comfort Food podcast. “You know the secret, which is that I’m actually fairly well-adjusted. And I so badly want to get married if only for my wife to just know in her heart, like, ‘John will know what to do.’ I just think that level of being relied on is the hottest thing in the world to me,” he said.
