John Stamos believes in aging gracefully — but he has gone under the knife twice early in his career.
While Stamos, 62, admitted he “won’t” have a facelift, the actor told Bobbi Althoff on her Really Good podcast that he has had two nose jobs.
“I had a nose job when I was on General Hospital,” he said during his Wednesday, June 10, appearance. “It was kind of — I broke it when I was a kid. I got hit with a golf club. There’s a little scar here and I was on General Hospital, which is a soap opera. And I just didn’t like the way it looked and so I got it done.”
He added that he wasn’t happy with the results, so he “had it fixed by Michael Jackson’s guy.”
“But he didn’t make me look like Michael Jackson,” Stamos added.
The Full House alum — who got his big break on the long-running soap opera in 1982 — previously opened up about his nose job in his 2023 memoir, If You Would Have Told Me.

“When I see it on TV for the first time, it’s all I can look at,” he wrote, per E! News. “Fixating on my nose is beginning to detract from my performance. Plus, the early years of bullying…have me ready to make a change.”
He claimed that the first procedure left him with a “pushed up [nose] like Peter Pan.”
That’s when he decided to seek the help of Jackson’s plastic surgeon, adding, “Who better to handle the delicate task of resculpting my nose than the man who created a whole new face for M.J.?”
