Jon Bernthal‘slatest photo has our attention as we wait for the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again and Spider-Man: Brand New Day films. Both projects have release dates in 2026.
Bernthal plays the iconic role of The Punisher in both the series and the film, so Marvel fans will see a lot of him next year.
For now, the 49-year-old actor is showing everyone just how hard he’s working to stay in shape for his big role in a photo that has fans full of praise. In it, Bernthal is shirtless and flexing to show off his muscular physique. In the caption, he simply wrote, “Back. At. It.”

It didn’t take long for the comments section of Bernthal’s latest Instagram photo to fill up as many piled on the praise.
“This guy looks like he takes ZERO naps,” one commenter wrote.
Another chimed in, “Don’t do it, Frank!” This is referencing a line from Season 2 of The Punisher in which Karen Page says this to Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher. This comment is even more fun because it came from Jason R. Moore, who played Curtis Hoyle in The Punisher television series.
“Who’s getting punished?” someone else asked.
The bulk of Bernthal’s comments section was filled with GIFs that mostly featured him in various roles over the years. Others featured Andrew Lincoln, who played his friend turned killer Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead series.
2026 Will Be Big For Jon Bernthal
Bernthal has a lot going on right now as he prepares for a very big 2026 and we’re not just talking about the return of The Punisher in both a movie and a TV series.
That alone is a pretty big deal, though, as Daredevil: Born Again will premiere in March 2026 on Disney+.Spider-Man: Brand New Daywill hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
We’ll also see Bernthal in the highly anticipated The Odyssey, which premieres in theaters on July 17, 2026. In that retelling of the classic Greek tale directed by Christopher Nolan, he will play Antinous, the leader of the noblemen-turned-suitors vying for Penelope’s hand.
