In the film, Star Wars alum Ridley plays Dr. Rosalind Carver, a successful entrepreneur who, together with her husband Matt, rescues a wounded man drifting off the coast of Indonesia, unaware they are about to become part of a deadly conspiracy. Within hours, Matt is abducted by a gang of ruthless pirates led by Langbore (Copley). Rosalind finds herself forced to team-up with a battle-hardened ex-mercenary (Duhamel) with his own reasons for taking down the pirates, and in doing so expose a global trafficking empire.
