Josh Hall and Christina Haack are officially divorced, and he marked the occasion with some scathing words to his ex.
“Excited to spend Labor Day weekend in the real reality… Finally, legally divorced and a free man. I’ve always worked hard, kept what’s mine, and declined hand outs, and I’m keeping it that way,” Hall, 44, wrote alongside a photo of himself next to a saddled horse shared via Instagram on Thursday, August 28. “Lesson learned: don’t marry someone who needs constant public validation and will use your personal drama for attention.”

The post comes days after their divorce was finalized in a shocking settlement on Tuesday, August 26. Haack, 42, paid the Texas real estate agent $300,000 on May 6, along with $40,000 for his legal fees, according to legal documents obtained by E! News. The judgment also noted a previous unallocated lump-sum payment of $100,000 that she made to the 44-year-old in September 2024.
Hall was the first to officially file for divorce on July 15, 2024, citing “irreconcilable differences, and Haack followed with a filing of her own just hours later. She noted their official separation date as July 8, 2024, and the drama quickly ramped up between the two exes.

The HGTV star listed their $4.5 million Tennessee farmhouse, which she had owned before the two married, but Hall quickly pumped the brakes and filed an emergency order to halt the sale, arguing that mortgage payments made during their marriage gave him a say in the property’s fate. She then accused Hall of financial misconduct and claimed that he transferred over $35,000 into his bank account from hers without her knowledge. Hall denied the claims and said that the money was used for shared property expenses.
Both parties took shots at one another on social media, and after a 12-hour mediation session in May, a settlement was signed off by a judge who granted neither party any spousal support.
